With spoilers already flooding the Internet, the game's publisher said it wanted the best gaming experience for all its customers and has stringently avoided releasing spoilers to dampen enthusiasm prior to the game's release.

It has also taken steps to prevent unauthorized access and sales of "Halo 5," preparing to launch legal action if needed, and advised fans not to buy or play advanced copies of the game as there may be a risk of encountering bugs and other technical issues.

Meanwhile, 343 Industries recently revealed the game's matchmaking playlists fans can expect to encounter during launch day, including Warzone, Warzone Assault, Team Arena, Slayer, Breakout, Free-for-All, SWAT, and Weekend Social.

Trailers of the game have so far shown the "Halo" franchise's main protagonist, Master Chief, as having gone rogue and Spartan Locke assigned to arm his team and hunt him down.

Meanwhile, a tremendous threat to the galaxy is reported to be on its way and it is speculated Master Chief going AWOL may have something to do with saving the galaxy from the mass destruction about to arrive.

The game's final trailer also shows Master Chief and Spartan Locke coming face to face for a confrontation, with the former proving a more slippery prey than Locke has ever encountered.

"Halo 5: Guardians" is scheduled for an exclusive Xbox One worldwide launch on October 27.
