Heidi Klum stirred reactions after sharing photos of her famous blonde hair tightly wound in cornrows while on vacation last week.
The 40-year-old model and her family visited The Bahamas where she and her daughters sought locals to tightly braid their long hair.
"Bahama Braids," Klum posted to Twitter along with a photo of herself with her eyes closed while having her hair done.
Moreover, the "America's Got Talent" judge shared a snapshot taken of the final product- her hair in dozens of small braids with beads secured at the ends.
Then, on Sunday, Klum and her children were spotted back in New York City still wearing the cornrows.
By Monday, though, the model took to Twitter with an image of her hair once the braids were removed.
"I don't know if I prefer the braids or the big curls," she posted, along with a photo of her hair tightly kinked from the plaits.
The braids were not the only change Klum has made to her appearance lately. The "Project Runway" host is separating herself from ex-husband Seal by removing the tattoo of their names on her inner arm with treatments of late.
"She's been through a few treatments," said an insider speaking to People magazine.
However, Klum is not altering the portion of the tattoo that honors her children.
"The stars with her children's initials will stay intact," added the source.
When the former couple had renewed their vows in 2008, Klum decided to ink her name as well as her singer husband's onto her right inner arm.
"It was our fourth wedding, and we wanted to have our names tattooed together," said the "Project Runway" host around the same time. "So it's my husband's name and our three children- their initials, in the [three] stars."
Today, Seal and Klum are waiting to officially dissolve their seven-year marriage and filed for a divorce in April of last year.
Meanwhile, Klum has moved on from her marriage in more ways than just removing her tattoo. The Victoria's Secret model is dating her bodyguard, Martin Kristen.
Despite her new relationship, Klum revealed that she will likely never marry again following her divorce from Seal.
"I don't think so," said the model speaking to Marie Claire earlier this year.
