'Homeland' Episode 5 Spoilers – Carrie, Saul and Quinn Back On Same Page?

In "Homeland" Season 5 Episode 5 which is tellingly titled, "Better Call Saul," Carrie will finally meet Saul and try to figure out if it was really Saul who had tasked Quinn with the mission to kill her. Dar Adal and Allison are caught up in international intrigue, while Quinn is in pretty bad shape.

It has not taken long for Carrie to enter a desperate situation. Her domesticated life a dream now, Carrie will have to try very hard to get out of this situation so that she can live her life with her daughter, Franny.

In the promos, a badly injured Quinn finally cannot endure it anymore and tells Carrie to raid a medical emergency room/clinic that is a mile away for bandages and medicines.

Carrie is shown as being forced to take help from German agent Astrid who had been Quinn's former lover. Carrie meets Astrid (Nina Hoss) and tells her, "I need your help. I'm literally putting my life in your hands."

The promo does not show Astrid saying 'Yes' to this but she agrees to help Carrie and Quinn find out who had attacked and shot Quinn as Carrie says to Quinn, "She said she would do some looking for your sake."

A bit of banter happens between Carrie and Quinn as Quinn replies, "She likes me. What can I say?" to which Carrie quips, "Her one redeeming quality as far as I can tell."

It's good to see Carrie and Quinn bonding like this. Viewers might actually get to see the old Quinn.

The promotional photos of episode 5 show Carrie and Saul sitting in a car and talking and Carrie is wearing the dark-haired wig. It is safe to assume that it was not Saul who had ordered Quinn to kill Carrie.

Meanwhile, Dar Adal and Allison are dealing with the shocking death of General Youssef in a mid-air explosion. Saul tries to ask Etal Luskin (Allan Corduner) for answers but does not get any. Dar Adal is not happy with Allison when she says, "Somebody betrayed us."

Dar Adal responds angrily and asks where the betrayer could be, in Berlin or in Langley, USA. Tension is definitely brewing between Dar Adal and Allison and he seems not to trust her.

Catch episode 5 of "Homeland" on Sunday, Nov. 1, on Showtime.
