Recent reports have said Apple's tablet owns around 90 percent of the tablet market share.

NewEgg gave a description on the iPad 2 on their website: "A large, high-resolution LED-backlit IPS display, an incredibly responsive Multi-Touch screen and an amazingly powerful Apple-designed chip. All in a design that’s thin and light enough to take anywhere. iPad isn’t just the best device of its kind. It’s a whole new kind of device."

The online technology website also said the iPad 2 is available in a Wi-Fi model for fast cellular network access.

“The iPad allows you to browse the web pages, read and write emails, view photos or watch videos on YouTube just with a tap, whisk and flick of your fingertip,” said NewEgg. “Right now you can discover over a thousand apps on the App Store made just for iPad - with more coming every day. And if that’s not enough, you can also run almost 200,000 iPhone apps. The street view, satellite view, or new terrain view using Google services helps you find your location easily and precisely. You can create great-looking presentations, documents, and spreadsheets with iWork, all using just your fingers."

The iPad 2 also features two cameras, one in the front and one in the back, accessibility to the iCloud service and compatibility with AirPlay and AirPrint.
