iPad 3 Features to Include Home Button, Plus Two Colors to Be Available

The iPad 3 will feature a home button if these leaked digitizers for the device that recently appeared on Fix-iPhones.com are real.

Contrary to the popular rumors, the images of the parts clearly illustrate that Apple's next generation tablet will feature the company's trademark button that is included on iPads and iPhones.

The images also display two different digitizers with one version being white and the other black. This contradicts the recent rumor that stated the iPad 3 would only come in one color.

Here are some of the other rumored features to be expected from the iPad 3:

The iPad 3 is expected to be a 4G LTE tablet. If Apple were to release another 3G device it would simply keep them too far behind the curve. Other tablet manufacturers such as Samsung with its Galaxy line have already gone the 4G LTE route making internet surfing on the device lightning fast. Apple needs to join the pack or else it will just slip too far behind in terms of speed. The iPad 3 should be the company's first official 4G LTE device.

The iPad 3 is expected to include a quad-core A6 chip. The processor should give Apple's tablet a significant boost in speed setting it far ahead of the competition. There is the possibility of the company going with an updated version of the A5 chip currently included in the iPad 2. However, quad-core processing speeds would once again solidify Apple's place as the market's leader.

The iPad 3 is also rumored to have an updated Retina Display that will be a 9.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. This device will double the resolution of the iPad 2, making it the best screen to be released on any electronic device to date.
