iPhone 6S Release Date, Specs News: September launch expected

By now, Apple fans all over the world are probably preparing for the launch of the iPhone 6. If Apple's previous launch dates were to be followed, then September is the month to be vigilant for upgrades. As of yesterday, Forbes has confirmed that the iPhone 6s will be introduced on September 9, and everyone is interested to know what the big difference would be this time.

Unlike the previous iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s upgrade, the significant addition of the Touch ID was certainly to take note of, and Apple had no qualms about letting the public know about it. However, this time around, it seems that major details about the 6s are kept mum. Only a few slight changes are known for now such as the following: 1.) a new access panel to the display, which can be a preview to what the Force Touch integration can do. 2.) A much more sensitive Touch ID for easier security fingerprint recognition. 3.) A protective plate at the back of the LCD, which aims to make the task of repairing difficult for third parties.

A mistake that Apple had made before, which it seems to be keen on avoiding this time around, was "bending" iPhones. After the release of the 6, an outpour of complaints came about their new models "bending" after being sat on, or other instances as such. Now, Apple has made sure to make the design more resilient by increasing the size of the sides, while using a stronger aluminum, as rumored.

Along with all this visual and physical changes with the iPhones comes the first actual preview of the iOS 9. Another speculated product to be launched that day is the Apply TV. It has been years since the Apple TV has had an upgrade, and so many think that it will be high time that the Cupertino tech giant introduce more improved technology to it, such as a dedicated App Store, Siri voice controls, and a Bluetooth touchpad remote.

For now, reports say the new iPhone will be available for preordering starting Sept. 18, which will be followed by public availability on Sept. 25.
