The name of the club will be "The Scratching Post."  Originally, it was supposed to be "Coldcock's" but it connotes booze and alcohol, that's why they had to change it. When the zombies settle inside the pub, they get to be served with hot sauce, brains and other zombie stuff from around the globe.

Humans are not allowed to enter the pub as the zombies have to conceal their identities. Also, the pub is located underground. In Season 2, the Chief Executive Officer of Fillmore Graves Enterprises, Vivian (Andrea Savage), discloses her plans of making Seattle into a zombie capital.

That's why the exclusive bar's main function is possibly to allow unity among zombies that will possibly allow them to rule the world one day.

Moore's Dilemma: Humans or Zombies?

Olivia Moore (Rose McIver) is torn between supporting Vivian and telling the other zombies not to support the new pub. In a recent interview with iZombie star McIver during San Diego Comic-Con, she admits that Liv doesn't have a lot of information about the other zombies who are supporting the new pub, and maybe she will opt to remain in the humans' side.

According to McIver, Vivian herself does not know most of the zombies that are going in the pub and her intentions of putting up the place is for military operations. She also added that her character will be asking advice from her human friends before finally taking the plunge.

The concept of iZombie is an adaptation of the characters created by Michael Allred and Chris Roberson for DC Entertainment's Vertigo. The series was made for television by producers Thomas, Danielle Stokdyk, Dan Etheridge, and Ruggiero-Wright. The series is produced by three production companies: Warner Bros. Television, Spondoolie and Bonanza.

Aside from McIver and Savage, iZombie is also starred by Blaine 'DeBeers' McDonough, Malcolm Goodwin, David Anders, Rahul Kohli, and Robert Buckley.

The third season comprises of thirteen episodes. It is set to premiere at midseason on CW.
