'Jane The Virgin' Season 2 Episode 5 Spoilers: The Single Mom Dances With Britney Spears In The New Teaser Trailer

Fans are already getting excited for this week's showing of The CW's hit family drama TV series "Jane The Virgin" Season 2 as spoiler reports indicate that the upcoming episode will feature one of the most iconic pop superstar of the 90s. Meanwhile, the show's love triangle gets even more complicated.

International Business Times wrote that "Chapter Twenty-Seven" will see the singer Britney Spears on this week's episode portraying herself. It is said that she will be performing at the Marbella Hotel.

The promo video for the episode reveals just how delighted Jane is to see her teenage idol in the flesh. And she even gets to dance with Britney to one of the latter's chart-topper numbers, "Toxic."

However, Rogelio won't be sharing Jane's enthusiasm with Britney being in town. He seems to be annoyed with the idea that another star is competing with him for the limelight. In fact, the video shows him having a confrontation with the "Oops, I Did It Again" performer. The quite harsh verbal exchange eventually leads the soap opera actor to be dragged out of the establishment.

The new episode, meanwhile, will reveal Ms. Spear's side of the story on her ongoing quarrel with Jane's biological father.

In other developments, Michael Cordero is so affected with his ongoing feud with Rafael Solano with whom he competes with for Jane's heart. Michael will be so caught up in the conflict that his work will be affected.

Elsewhere, Alba is now starting to take the proper steps to become a citizen, but Xo's past will make the process more difficult for her than is expected.

Petra, on her part, will get an offer from her ex-flame which, as the episode synopsis says, she won't be able to refuse.

Don't miss the exciting turn of events as "Jane The Virgin" airs this Monday, Nov. 9, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
