St Louis Rams NFL 2015 Roster News, Rumors: Jeff Fisher Wants Wide Receiver Kenny Britt to Do Better

Kenny Britt has played one season for the St. Louis Rams and earned himself a two-year deal to stay and see if he and new quarterback Nick Foles can make magic together. Still, St. Louis head coach Jeff Fisher expects Kenny to play better in 2015.

For the first time in his career in 2014, Britt played a full season. He caught 48 balls for 748 yards and three touchdowns. Those are pretty much average for Britt after playing six seasons in the NFL, five of which were played for the Tennessee Titans. If the Rams won't to take the next step in their development the need Britt to be a bigger threat down the field.

"It didn't surprise me because obviously I know Kenny, the production didn't surprise me," Fisher told ESPN.com. "I can kind of share the same issue Kenny does and that's we think he can be better. I think he can do better. He thinks he can be better."

"He thinks he can be more productive. He's looking forward to the offensive changes. I think yeah, we should see a lot more out of Kenny this year," the head coach added.

Britt has big incentives in his contract that can both earn him a lot more money and possibly even void the second year of the deal (letting him hit the market possibly with tremendous value) if he can find a way to be more productive.

However, the Rams will need to be better on offense as a whole to get him those numbers and Foles will have to play far better than his predecessor did. The Rams also need to find way to pass protect better giving Foles enough time to hit Britt down the field.
