Jennifer Aniston: Justin Theroux Looks 'Like a Serial Killer'

Jennifer Aniston has opened up about the first time she met boyfriend Justin Theroux explaining that she was anything but swept off her feet.

The actress met fellow actor Theroux on the set of "Tropic Thunder" in 2007, and said she thought he was "very sweet and he was always very nice," but there was something else about him.

"But I remember thinking he was very dark," explained Aniston speaking to Pop Sugar. "At first you think he could be like a serial killer, but he is actually the nicest person in the world."

Aniston, 43, and Theroux, three years her junior, became an item less than a year ago while shooting the film "Wanderlust."

"He's just the most cold, icy, fishy kind of guy," joked the "Friends" star while on "Good Morning America" Monday morning. "I'm trying to warm him up, but you know."

Getting more serious, Aniston added that her beau "is really cute" and as well as a very talented actor.

While shooting "Wanderlust" which also stars Paul Rudd and Malin Akerman, Aniston described the benefits of working in a remote area.

"The main thing that was so refreshing for me was being in Clarksville, Ga., which was so far in the middle of nowhere," she said. "There's sort of a parallel experience happened between what happened with my character in the movie and with me in life."

Aniston continued that she was able to focus on work without interruptions from zealous fans or the paparazzi.

"All of my guards fell away," said the actress. "I felt this weight off of my shoulders of constantly being on guard or looking over my shoulder or [asking], 'What's that over there?' or 'Who has a cell phone?'"

Aniston, who appears naked in the new romantic comedy, plays a woman from Manhattan, N.Y., who decides to quit her life and head to a naked colony.

"Wanderlust" hits theaters Friday, Feb. 24.
