Jesse James 'Paid the Price' for Cheating?

Jesse James has opened up about what life is like following several failed relationships due to his cheating habits.

The West Coast Choppers CEO is seeking to change the public's opinion of him following his divorce from Sandra Bullock and broken engagement from "L.A. Ink" television star Kat Von D. Both relationships ended because of James' admitted infidelity.

"I think I've paid the price, and then some, you know," said the motorcycle mogul speaking to Yahoo's OMG!

"I don't know anybody anywhere that's had to endure what I had to endure for basically infidelity," the 42-year-old added. "It's just the nature of my life. People will always want me sainted one minute, and strung up the next."

Bullock and James divorced after five years of marriage and cited "conflict of personalities" as the reason. While the actress remained quiet on the events that led to the split, James issued a public apology for his cheating.

"I stood up like a man and admitted my wrongs and what I did and all that did is make every tabloid everywhere across the world come after me even harder," continued James speaking to OMG! "I'm strong, I can take it. Everybody can take cheap shots and say I'm a horrible dad, and that I'm a Nazi, and all this other bulls-it."

James is the father of Sunny, 8, who he shares with his ex-wife, adult film star Janine Lindemulder. He also has two children with his first wife, Karla James.

James and Von D's relationship ended in 2011. Von D, 30, announced the split via Twitter.

"I'm no longer w Jesse," the famous tattoo artist announced on the social media site last July. "And out of respect for him, his family and myself, that's all the info I'd like to share. Thanks for respecting that."

James admitted that he regrets hurting the people he cares about when it comes to his relationships while speaking to Yahoo.

"There'll never be a day that goes by for the rest of my life that I don't regret it," he said of the pain his cheating caused Von D. "If I could go back and change the way I did things, and not hurt people, and not do things that way I did, of course I would do it that way."

James added," I would never consciously bring pain to anyone, especially the people I love. It is something that I have to life with."
