Justin Bieber fan Mariah Yeater has dropped her paternity suit against the pop star. According to TMZ.com, Yeater has withdrawn her lawsuit for Justin Bieber to take a paternity test.
Yeater, who previously claimed that the pop star has fathered her child, said she had a liaison with the singer last year. In an interview with Insider, Yeater once claimed that her four-month-old son Tristyn’s father is indeed Bieber. “He (Bieber) immediately took a liking to me and we just got to talking and then he eventually asked me, 'Do you mind if we can go somewhere and be alone?'"
Yeater said that they then went to a bathroom. When asked what evidence she has to prove her allegations, Yeater said: “It'll show in court to prove that my allegations are true.”
She said her attorney has been given the evidence but she could not discuss it on camera.
TMZ had reported last week that Justin Bieber will take a DNA test to prove that he is not the father of fan Mariah Yeater’s baby. According to sources connected to pop star, Bieber planned to take the paternity test when he returned to the United States from Europe. Bieber and his team then planned to sue Yeater.
Yeater told a California court that she had a tryst with Bieber after his concert at L.A’s Staples Center on Oct 25 last year. RadarOnline reported that Yeater told the judge: “When I later realized I was pregnant with Justin Bieber's baby, I tried to contact him through his representatives but no one ever called me back. On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber. Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby.”
