Kelly Clarkson Christmas Card Released, Opens Fan Competition

Kelly Clarkson is the latest celebrity to spread the holiday spirit and unveil a Christmas card this year.

The "Wrapped in Red" singer posted her family's holiday greeting card to Twitter on Tuesday, writing, "Merry Christmas from the Blackstocks!"

Clarkson, 31, married Brandon Blackstock in October and is now stepmother to his two children Seth and Savannah. The newlyweds are already expecting their first child together.

The Christmas card features all four family members and their pets posed beside a grinning Santa Claus. The Blackstocks each look worried and scared with their eyes cast sideways toward Santa.

Intentionally awkward, the photo was Clarkson's way of inviting fans to compete in a contest by submitting their own occasionally awkward Christmas cards.

"Share your photos for a chance to win," Clarkson posted along with a link allowing fans an opportunity to win her new Christmas album, "Wrapped in Red."

The "American Idol" alum is not the only celebrity to share a Christmas card so far this year. The Kardashians unveiled their bizarre arcade-themed card earlier this month.

Furthermore, the Obamas released a pop-up Christmas card featuring the White House as well as their two pet dogs Sunny and Bo.

While Clarkson is thrilled to be the stepmother of her husband's children from a previous marriage, the singer is also delighted to be expanding their family- just as long as the unborn baby does not try to "kill" her with morning sickness.

"It's miserable," the singer started while on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" earlier this month.

"I'm so happy I'm pregnant," Clarkson continued. "I just wish like he or she would stop trying to kill me."

While the "Stronger" singer is thrilled to be with child, she is quickly learning that pregnancy is not as wonderful as she had hoped.

"Oh my God, like is it so upsetting when I ask women because they're like, oh you're going to love this, and I'm like, 'Were you sick first,'" Clarkson explained to DeGeneres. "They're like, 'No.' And I want to hit all of them with my car. I vomit a good dozen times a day; it's bad!"
