Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Wedding? Couple Could Have 'Private' Ceremony, Says Mother

Kris Jenner recently fueled engagement speculation surrounding her daughter, Kim Kardashian, after suggesting that she and Kanye West may in fact get married.

In October Kardashian's best friend, Jonathan Cheban, revealed that the reality TV star, 32, and West, 36, would likely get engaged after her divorce from NBA star Kris Humphries was finalized. In recent weeks a Los Angeles judge signed off on court papers legalizing Kardashian's divorce from Humphries, 28. While the rapper is yet to propose, Jenner, 57, recently alluded to a possible engagement in the future.

"This time it will be private and smaller, if she does get married again - not 500 people," Jenner told The Hollywood Reporter while referencing Kardashian's 2012 over-the-top nuptials to Humphries.

Kardashian, who is just weeks away from giving birth to her and West's first child, recently confirmed that she is open to getting married to West despite having two failed marriages.

"I do think I would get married again. That's what I've always wanted and just because you think you find it and you realize that's not it, I think I was brave enough to realize that quickly and not waste time," Kardashian told E! Producer Ryan Seacrest.

"I found what I really wanted," Kardashian added, referring to her year-long relationship with rapper Kanye West. "So I think I definitely do want that."

Cheban, who helped make Kardashian one of the biggest reality TV stars in the world, previously revealed that the she and West would likely proceed with marriage plans after her divorce from Humphries.

"It would be great [if Kim and Kanye get married]! She needs to get divorced first, though. When [Kris Humphries] is done playing games, I guess she'll get engaged," Cheban reportedly told Life & Style magazine at Gabrielle's Angel Foundation 2012 Angel Ball.

While fans are anxiously awaiting news of an engagement, sources claim West has no interest in marrying Kardashian.

"It doesn't appear that Kanye will ever marry Kim because the more time he has spent with her, the more he recognizes they want very different things from life," a source previously told RadarOnline.com.

"Kanye doesn't want to share the spotlight with his partner, and he wants to be the center of attention, period," the source went on reiterating, "[they] just want very different things out of life."
