Kim Kardashian Says She'd Be 'Lost' Without Church After Tough Week

Kim Kardashian, 31-year-old reality television star, was spotted attending Sunday service with her mother at Life Change Community Church in Agoura Hills, Calif., days after she was bombed with a bag of flour.

Kardashian, who has been going through a highly-publicized divorce to Kris Humphries, her NBA-player husband of 72-days, told her Twitter followers that the church service helped her get through her week, which included being hit with a bag of flour during an appearance.

"I would be lost if I didn't go to church to reflect back on my whole week," Kardashian tweeted. "Today's service was awesome! Thank you so much @brad_s_johnson! Extra special! Needed that!"

However, this is not the first time that Kardashian has publicly spoken about her spirituality. In an episode of her reality television show, "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," Kardashian confessed that it was hard to split from Humphries because of his Christian faith.

"It's hard for me. He has a good heart, he's a Christian – everything on paper I want in someone, but for some reason, my heart isn't connecting," she said in the episode.

Despite her recent divorce proceedings, Kardashian's family has been heavily involved with the Life Change Community Church, which was co-founded by her mother, and its pastor Brad Johnson. Khloe Kardashian, Kim's younger sister, was married to NBA player husband Lamar Odom by Pastor Johnson in 2009 and the church recently celebrated its two-year anniversary.

In a 2011 interview with Piers Morgan, Kardashian spoke about tithing to Life Change Community Church.

"I give 10% away to the church and that's what I was taught," Kardashian told Morgan. "Every year, absolutely."

In a 2011 interview with Josh Skinner, the Kardashian Matriarch, Kris Jenner, confirmed the family's faith that was passed down to Kim and her sisters.

"Even a family as crazy as ours can have a great relationship with God," Jenner said.

After attending a church service at the beginning of 2012, Kardashian tweeted about starting private Bible study.

"I want to start a Bible study group with my friends," she tweeted.
