Kim Kardashian to Kuwait: Reality Star Meets With Ambassador (PHOTO)

Kim Kardashian has developed an early New Year's resolution. Her mission is to be educated about the Middle East crisis, which she has kickstarted by taking a trip to Kuwait.

The reality star has an agenda to promote the recently opened Millions of Milkshakes in the Middle East. But while there, Kardashian has decided that it is time for her to become more knowledgeable about the crisis that is taking place in the country.

"Kim wants to be as informed as possible so she can use her celebrity to help those in need and raise awareness about important issues in the area," a source told TMZ earlier this month, of Kardashian's trip abroad. The reality star decided to take on the mission after she wrote " praying for everyone in Israel" on Twitter when talking about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Some of Kardashian's fans were hurt by the tweet however, prompting her to take it down and apologize.

"I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realised that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologise," the star wrote last week.

To begin her mission, the star will make a 3-day trip to Kuwait and Bahrain, where she is set to make two appearances for Millions of Milkshakes.

Beginning her trip, the star tweeted a photo of herself and U.S. Ambassador to Kuwait, Matthew Tueller, on Wednesday.

"Just touched down in Kuwait!!! Riding to the hotel now! So excited to be here!" the reality star wrote in the caption of the photo. Photos were taken of the celebrity as she arrived from the airport, wearing all black, a see-through top, and gold framed glasses.
