Lady Gaga Confirms Upcoming $75 Million, Two-Year Las Vegas Residency

Lady Gaga has been booked for a two-year Las Vegas residency.

It has been previously reported in the Las Vegas Review Journal that pop star Lady Gaga will be announcing a residency in the city. Now, the 31-year-old has finally confirmed the news. Taking to Twitter, Lady Gaga excitedly posted a couple of photos of herself officially signing a contract with Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino's Park Theater.

"The rumors are true! I will have my own residency at MGM's Park Theater. Get ready for a brand new show!!" Lady Gaga tweeted.

Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, is definitely no stranger to the stage. In fact, the singer-actress has been known for her spectacular stage performance and just recently performed at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show as well as headlining Coachella.

"It's the land of Elvis, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Elton John, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli. It has been a life-long dream of mine to play Las Vegas. I am humbled to be a part of a historical line-up of performers, and to have the honor of creating a new show unlike anything Vegas has ever seen before," she says in a statement.

However, her fans would have to wait for almost a year before they could finally see Mother Monster in Sin City as her residency is set to begin in December 2018. In the meantime, her fans will be able to see her in the upcoming film "A Star is Born" co-starring Bradley Cooper.

It has been reported that Lady Gaga would be getting a whopping $75 million from her Las Vegas residency. With this news, she would ultimately be joining the likes of Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Pitbull, the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears who have all made a residency in Las Vegas. Sadly, it has also been announced that Spears and Lopez's residencies are coming to an end.
