Lamar Odom Ex-Fiance Reveals Feelings After Khloe Kardashian Divorce News
Lamar Odom may be separated from Khloe Kardashian, but the mother of his children is insisting that the basketball player's pending divorce is not going to bring the childhood sweethearts back together.
Odom, the 34-year-old NBA free agent, has made headlines in recent months for allegedly stepping out on his marriage and battling with a drug addiction. While numerous media outlets have speculated about the possibility of the 29-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's marital woes, she officially filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences.
While some media outlets like Radar Online have posted stories about the possibilities of Odom getting back with his children's mother Liza Morales, the mother insisted that the rumors are false.
"The new rumors are so ridiculously false, they are actually somewhat comedic," Morales insisted on Twitter. "Being cordial is always beneficial when children are involved."
While Morales has known Odom for 20 years, she has also admitted to being hurt by the fact that he married Kardashian when she first learned about the union.
"I don't think I'll forget the tight knot I felt in the pit of my stomach the morning I received the text message with three simple words on the screen. It read 'I'm getting married' and it was from the man I'd spent more than 10 years of my life with," she previously wrote on Daily Beast. "Years that included us getting engaged in 2000 and becoming parents to one daughter and two sons. Yet not long after our separation Lamar Odom was getting married to Khloe Kardashian, a woman he'd met four weeks before."
However, Kardashian revealed some struggles within her marriage on her "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality television show. While Kardashian never detailed exactly what was wrong with Odom aside from him being in a "dark place," she said things have gotten progressively worse over the course of her four year marriage.
"A lot has been going on the past couple years just with me and Lamar and I made that choice just to keep that in my marriage," Khloe revealed in her individual confessional moment on the show. "But lately it's getting bigger...sometimes things are bigger than yourself."
