Lenovo Releases Teaser Image of Vibe X3 Ahead of Official Launch

Lenovo has released a teaser photo of its upcoming smartphone, the Vibe X3, less than a week before its scheduled launch.

Chinese tech manufacturer Lenovo is set to hold a press event on November 16 where it is geared to unveil its latest handset, the Vibe X3, but the multinational has already outed a teaser image of the smartphone to the public earlier this week to give a glimpse of its new mid-range product.

Codenamed "Lemon X" n China, the Vibe X3 is no stranger to leakages, with its specs inadvertently announced to the public in several instances. Lenovo outed the image via popular Chinese social media site, Weibo, with a confirmation the unveiling will be held on Monday.

Carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC with four Cortex A53 and two Cortex A57 cores under the hood (according to a Gadgets 360 report), the CPU is supported by 3GB of RAM, and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Featuring a 5.5-inch full HD touchscreen display with a 1080p resolution, the Vibe X3 has a 21MP main camera equipped with a dual flash at its rear, and an 8MP front snapper.

Measuring 154mm x 76.4mm x 9.4mm and weighing 175 grams based on its TENAA listing (according to a more recent report from the same media outlet), the Vibe X3 also features enhanced audio capabilities care of the phone's stereo speaker grilles at its front and just underneath the display, based on the leaked images of the handset.

The speaker grilles have been presented in individual machine-holed designs, with the Vibe X3 rumored to be equipped with Dolby technology.

Based on the photo, the Vibe X3 will have three capacitive buttons seen in front, which include the Home button, a Back button, and a Multi-Window button.

Based on an earlier leaked photo of the smartphone, the Vibe X3 will be sporting a fingerprint sensor at the rear.

While there hasn't been any announcements of the handset's battery details and price point, Lenovo has confirmed it will be launching the Vibe X3 at its press event on November 16.
