'Life in Pieces' Episode 3 Spoilers and Recap: Matt Walks in on His Parents

In the next episode of "Life in Pieces" entitled "Sleepy Email Brunch Tree," the official synopsis reads, Matt coaches Colleen on how to connect with the family when he invites her to brunch; John, Matt, and Greg try to cut down a tree in Greg's backyard; Tim has a bad reaction to espresso; and a sleep-deprived Greg has a run-in with the police.

In the promo for the episode, it would seem that Matt will introduce Colleen to his weird and crazy family. Colleen's ex-husband will try anything to get her back. Greg will become sleep deprived and start seeing things. The boys try to chop a tree. The episode promises more craziness.

The previous episode began with Matt when he walked in on his parents getting cozy on the couch. Joan made waffles that Matt did not appreciate at all. She wanted Matt to discuss his feelings about what he saw. Matt told his mother that his siblings were also disturbed. Joan created a family meeting and she forced the entire family to participate in a game where they had to talk. Later that night, Matt heard his parents instead.
