Dortmund is a powerhouse in Germany and has also been a force in Europe whether in the UEFA Champions League or the Europa League.

They may have fallen a number of times in different games, but they are arguably the favourites to win the title by the end of the campaign.

However, the Reds of Liverpool have a long and illustrious European career and are looking to add another trophy to their collectiont.

Aside from Dortmund, Liverpool is also considered to be one of the teams who can probably lift the Europa League title later on in the season.

And their first game is a great way to see how these two teams play, as they settled for a 1-1 draw with all to play for in the second leg.

In fact, many did not expect that Liverpool would get the first goal of the game as Divock Origi beat the Dormund defense in the 36th minute to give the Reds a 1-0 lead.

However, at the start of the second half, Dortmund finally broke down the Liveprool defense and Mats Hummels scored in the 48th minute to tie the game.

Both would eventually look for the winning goal, but it would have to wait a little longer as the game ended in a draw.

Now with an away goal and playing at home, many believe that Liverpool has a slight advantage, but nonetheless, this should be a very exciting contest.
