'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' Premiere Date, Latest News: Reality Show to Arrive September 15, 2014

After the successful run over the East Coast with "Love & Hip Hop NY," VH1's reality TV show franchise is now headed to the West Coast for "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood."

Produced by Mona Scott-Young for Monami Entertainment and Toby Barraud with Stefan Springman for Eastern TV, L&HH: Hollywood will see a new group of R&B and hip hop hopefuls vying for the prize. As described, they are set to "deliver the shock, drama and scandal as only the #1 social show of the summer can do."

Slated to premiere this coming Sept. 15, VH1 recently announced the big names in the music industry that will join the cast of the hopefuls. They are as follows:

  • Recording artist and Kim Kardashian-linked celebrity Ray-J
  • DeAndre Cortez Way better known as Soulja Boy
  • Former lead singer of B2K Omarion
  • Former youngest member of B2K Lil' Fizz
  • Young Berg, the Grammy-nominated producer and musician who was behind the success of other names like Lil Wayne, T Pain, Ray J and Meek Mill
  • "Make Her Feel Good" singer and actress Teairra Marie
  • Former celebrity publicist and currently limelight seeker Hazel E
  • Hip-hop radio Power 106 station music director and DJ, Yesi Ortiz
  • LA club promoter Sincere
  • LA native Nikki Mudarris

And more names like Morgan Hardman, Nia Riley, Apryl Jones, Amanda Secor and Moniece Slaughter.

Meanwhile, news of the show's Dirty South franchise "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" Season 3 reunion indicates that it almost caused a commotion when Joseline and Stevie J turned to attack Benzino and Althea.

Radio TV Talk described the event having "a lot of rage, security people and near chaos."

"Reality show gold!" the site added.
