'Madam Secretary' Season 3 Spoilers and Release Date: Elizabeth Changes, Morgan Freeman's Character to Step Up and Stop the Pretense

"Madam Secretary" Season 3 is set to come back and will have Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni) giving up. Morgan Freeman's character will step forward and stop the charade which will lead back Elizabeth to the white House.

Elizabeth To give Up

The upcoming season's storyline is not known as of yet but it seems that there are presumptions of Elizabeth not willing to risk everything for the sake of power. Others also speculate that she gives up her family and accepts the seat at the Oval Office.

It has been reported that the show is closed to being cancelled because of Freeman having a disagreement with Leoni. Despite of these rumors, all cast of the show are coming back for a third installment. Elizabeth on the other hand will always have a hand on her family even if the demands at work are hard. There are also rumors that Elizabeth will not have the confidence in her character for the third season. However, how the story goes for the show is yet to be confirmed by the showrunners.

Freeman is also going to reprise his role in "Madam Secretary" Season 3. He is Chief Justice Wilbourne and is also going to direct the same episode. This he already did when he appeared in an episode in the second season.

Freeman To Direct The Show

In a recent report, Freeman shared that every time he directs the show, he always trusts his actors. He stated that the actors already know what needs to be done in a certain character and that they do not need to be told over again.

Other reports state of Leoni praising Freeman on his directing skills. She shared that Freeman can achieve a very good kind of performance with him giving the least amount of direction. For Leoni this type of directing is art.

Up until this time, plot details of the show have not yet been revealed. In the meantime, Elizabeth needs to face President Dalton (Keith Carradine) and provide him an answer. Dalton has pressured Elizabeth to run for the presidential elections alongside him. If Elizabeth decides to join in and accept the offer, she will replace Mark Delgado's (Alex Fernandez) place. It seems that Elizabeth needs to think and decide well.

Fans need wait for the storyline to be revealed but in the meantime, the third season is worth waiting for. The show can be expected to answer all the speculations once it airs on October 2, 2016.
