Mega Millions Jackpot Offers Winner $200 Million

Mega Millions was offering a huge jackpot on Friday evening. In the biggest jackpot of the year so far it was estimated that the winner could be set to win an estimated $200 million. The cash option for the estimated $200 million jackpot was $145.4 million.

The winning numbers emerged as 28 - 29 - 43 - 51 - 53 - 7.

It is unclear whether a winner has emerged so farm but if there was no one this time the jackpot could grow to more than $240 million next time, said Elias Dominguez, spokesman for California Lottery.

The chances of anyone winning to take home the full prize money Friday were 1 in 176 million.

"It's really crazy," said Dominguez. "Before I worked at the lottery, I didn't think it was possible to win, but now I see winners every day."

The winner could choose to take home annual payments of $7,692,307 over 26 years.

Tickets for the Mega Millions draw cost just $1 each.
