Meizu pro 6 News: New Images Show Details of the iPhone Lookalike

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has not announced any new device this year and this is despite the company's vibrant sale performance last year. If reports are true however, the first two weeks of April may be a significant period for the company, as they are reportedly unveiling two new devices, the Meizu Pro 6 and the M3 Note. According to a report in Android Headlines, the company is said to be unveiling the M3 Note on April 6, and their new flagship phone, the Pro 6 on April 12.

Despite the lack of any official announcements, images of the Pro 6 have surfaced online via unofficial leaks from different sources. According to Android Headlines, the most recent images show the front and back of the device said to be the Pro 6, sporting a design that looks so much like the Pro 5. The main difference now is the thinner bezels on the side. The rumored new antenna design is also expected on the device.

According to another report in Tech Times, the images also show that the device will have a metal build in black casing, as well as a fingerprint scanner that was present in the Pro 5. At the rear of the device, cutouts for the antenna are seen, as well as a camera that is rumored to have laser auto focus.

Under the hood, the device is rumored to be powered by a Helio X25 SoC, which is described to have a "tri-cluster design that handles heavy duty tasks (a pair of Cortex-A72 cores at 2.5 GHz); mid-size tasks (four Cortex-A53 cores at 2.0 GHz) and light tasks (four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.4 GHz)."

While the Tech Times report claims that the device will be equipped with 4 GB of RAM, another report in GSM Arena claims that it will have a whopping 6 GB of RAM. In addition to this, it has been confirmed that the Pro 6 will have a 3D Touch display.
