'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain' news: Left fans disappointed

After the long-awaited release of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," it was reported that several players have been complaining about the game.

Reports showed that players experienced file corruption when having Quiet as a companion during the episode 29 and episode 42 missions. This problem was also experienced by Polygon staff when they launched the game for the first time on PlayStation 4.

Meanwhile, Konami revealed that it is working on a bug that will allow players to avoid the glitch. Konami addressed the problem by explaining that using the Butterfly Emblem will allow for the mission to go safely. In a release, the company also thanked players of the game for remaining patient as the patch is being worked on.

There were also reports commenting that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is the worst installment compared to the others that were previously released. It was said that the game saw the real ending of the franchise, even though it is well-designed and provides a great gameplay. According to news, the game provides a stellar gameplay as it shows a responsive atmosphere compared to other installments. While it is said to feature an open world format, it does have a limited world as certain pathways are required to bring you to certain bases. Meanwhile, players may participate in the missions presented in the game. However, it feels as though they are not free to move their own way throughout the game.

The story of the title takes place in Afghanistan during the Soviet-Afghan War. It also explores the border of Angola and Zaire during the Angolan Civil War. It centers around the conflicts between Middle East and Africa during the 1980s.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is already available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
