Microsoft Lumia 535 Specs, Review: It's Not Too Late for Midrange Lumia in US Market

Before 2014 ended, Microsoft released a device that did not only bear its name, but showed a lot of promise for the Redmond giant and its mobile operating system.

Unfortunately, since that time, the Microsoft Lumia 535 has only been available in the U.S. through third-party retailer Expansys.

Now, according to a report from GSM Arena, the Windows Phone 8.1 powered device will be offered straight from the U.S. Microsoft store.

For solid Nokia, Microsoft and WP fans, the Lumia 535 retails at $149, and offers some entry-level specifications and features

For people looking for a short review of the Lumia 535, it boasts a 5-inch display with qHD (960 x 540) resolution, a low-end Snapdragon 200 SoC, 1GB of RAM, and a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU.

Other specs include 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a 1,905mAh battery, and Windows Phone 8.1.

The camera department boasts a 5MP camera, and a rather impressive 5MP front shooter, which is definitely at par with midrangers in the market.

In spite the device's late availability in the U.S. through Microsoft's official store, some fans may still take notice especially that the device would get a free update of Windows 10 for mobile.
