Windows 10 Update

Microsoft will focus on Windows 10 in this October event. Next year, 2 big changes will occur with the operating system. The first update will launch in March. Fans are expecting a lot of details about this update during the event.

Among the new features include a Trackpad that has fully customizable gestures, similar to BetterTouchTool for the Macintosh OS.

Another feature is the Home Hub, which helps Microsoft 10 users control their smart devices. Windows 10 will also have a blue light reduction feature, which, according to The Verge, "appears to be a setting that will be toggled from the Action Center (notification center) in the operating system."

Yet another feature is a Holographic shell. Details regarding how this feature can be incorporated in desktop personal computers remain unknown.

Surface all-in-one PC

Microsoft's event will likely introduce a new Surface brand which has surprising new features typical of Microsoft originality. The Microsoft Surface all-in-one PC will have a 24" or 27" display which uses a hinge to enter into flat mode; similar to the original Surface table gadget.

Some features expected include being able to make 3D objects, Holograms, stylus support and of course, touch screen.

Microsoft's Event will be about creativity. The new Surface device might extend that ability to create beyond a stylus and the touch screen, and incorporate 3D object creation and HoloLens. If so, then the device might have a RealSense camera.

Xbox

Microsoft might also talk about cross-platform gaming with Xbox and Windows 10. There have been similar efforts with Play Anywhere by Xbox, but during the event, Microsoft might talk about new features that will bring cross-platform gaming to the next level.

No Band 3

Microsoft's wearable fitness device, the Band 3 will not show up in the event because the company has killed this product off, leaving other companies to expand and upgrade on this market. Analysts also believe that Microsoft will not introduce any smart phones during this event.
