Microsoft Unveils Free Games With Gold Offerings for November

Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners who are Xbox Live Gold subscribers will soon enjoy a fresh batch of free games sometime next week.

Xbox Live director Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb announced on his blog site the list of free games that will be up for grabs under the Games With Gold program for November. Much like in the previous months, the lineup of free games total in four and are spread between the two Xbox consoles.

Starting Nov. 1, Xbox One owners can enjoy Ubisoft's racing video game "Trackmain Turbo." The game will be free for download for the whole month of November. Come Nov. 16, "Tales from the Borderlands" from Telltale Games follows suit. It features the Complete Season with Episodes 1 through 5 and can be downloaded for free until Dec. 15.

Meanwhile, Xbox 360 owners will get "NiGHTS into dreams" from Sonic Team. First released in 1995, the action video game was first published by Sega for the Sega Saturn. It will be free for download among Xbox 360 Gold subscribers from Nov. 1 to 15.

By Nov. 16, gamers can start enjoying "Deadfall Adventures" from THQ Nordic. Originally launched in 2013, the first-person shooter game will be free for download until the last day of November.

Meanwhile, Gamespot noted that Xbox Gold subscribers can still enjoy October's free Games With Gold. Some of the more notable titles for the month include "Medal of Honor: Airborne" and "Gone Home," which can be downloaded for free until the end of October. "The Turing Test," on the other hand, will still be up until Nov. 16.

In other Xbox News, Microsoft confirmed that apart from select Xbox One titles, there will also be some Xbox 360 titles that will receive enhancements for the Xbox One X. Some of the key Xbox 360 games to be granted enchantments include "Halo 3," "Assassin's Creed," "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion," and "Fallout 3."
