'Minecraft: Story Mode' – First episode to be out on Oct. 13th. Release for Android and iOS devices on Oct. 15th.

Game developers Telltale Games are out with news about their "Minecraft: Story Mode." According to Neurogadget, the first episode of "Minecraft: Story Mode" will be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 13, 2015. There's more. On October 15, 2015, Episode One of "Minecraft: Story Mode" will also be available for Android and iOS device users. Now, gamers can play on their consoles, PC and also on their mobiles.

Further to this, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Wii will also get their versions of the game. However, Telltale Games has not specified any release date yet for the two consoles but it is likely that they too will be released soon.

"Minecraft: Story Mode" is the first game based on the successful "Minecraft" title. In this game, a player can choose to play a male or a female protagonist. Each male or female protagonist comes with three different characterizations.

The first episode is titled, "Minecraft: Story Mode's The Order of the Stone." In this episode, gamers will play as Jesse. Jesse can be male or female depending on the gamer's choice. The female and male voiceovers for Jesse have been given by Catherine Taber and Patton Oswalt respectively. Gamers are going to journey across the OverWorld "through the Nether to the End and beyond." They have to find the Order of the Stone and prevent total destruction. The game is for all age groups and has the usual 'Minecraft' elements of mining and crafting.

Another point of this game that fans will appreciate is its all-star voice cast. Paul Reubens, Dave Fennoy, Corey Feldman, Ashley Johnson, Billy West, Patton Oswalt, Martha Plimpton, Catherine Taber and Scott Porter will lend their voices to the male and female characterizations of the protagonists.

The retail season pass of all the five episodes will be released on October 27. The episodes will also be available for individual purchase.
