Mojang has recently released its new "Minecraft" Update 1.21 for PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

Swedish game developer Mojang has updated its popular sandbox game, "Minecraft," with a new update for PlayStation 3 and 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One and 360 called the 1.21 Patch, which brings along with it new skins for players, bug fixes, and a Halloween 2015 Mash-up trial pack.

The update contains the Halloween 2015 Mash-up Pack trial content, colored torch light for the Halloween pack and Star Wars Prequel Skins. Update 1.21 also fixes some of the game's issues, including a memory leak bug that has been plaguing "Minecraft" players for some time now.

The Halloween Mashup Pack carries 43 new skins, which include the Swamp Monster, Wicked Witch, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Mad Doctor, and Tree Face, among many others. It also includes some texture packs. While a number of the new skins have been announced as free for download, players who are looking to acquire all of them will have to shell out a total of $4 for a complete set.

Released October 23 via the Xbox Store website, players have been encouraged to dress up their characters in the spooky Halloween costumes and join in the ghostly roller coaster ride provided in the Halloween Mash Up Pack.

The update will also be including Halloween-themed music in keeping with the season.

Players who have already availed of Update 1.21 will notice that the memory leak issue has been solved and their "Minecraft" game running smoother than previously. Apart from the memory fix, the update has also provided solutions to the crash issues players have been experiencing. It also included improvements to the debug menu, an increase in the stronghold amount, and added a new subtitles feature in the game.

Meanwhile, a Star Wars Prequel Pack, which comes with the update, has 50 new skins for $2.99, and includes Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
