MLB World Series Game 3 Live Stream Details, Fox TV Preview: How to Watch Kansas City Royals vs. NY Mets Online
The World Series would turn into a sweep if the Mets are unable to counter the juggernaut of the Kansas City Royals in Games 3 and 4.
Heading into Game 3, it is clear that the Royals have been quite successful in neutralizing the power of the starters of New York. It's easier said than done, but they came in prepared to put the ball in play and capitalize on every single mistake from the Mets. If Noah Syndergaard inherits the struggles of Jacob deGrom then the Mets are in real trouble.
The Mets really had their chances in Game 2 to bounce back, especially with their ace on the mound. But deGrom wasn't his usual self, allowing four runs just halfway in the game.
Johnny Cueto on the other hand was just a revelation. Starting in his first World Series, Cueto had the game in his pocket, allowing just the one run.
One of the main reasons why the Royals are dominating is because their batters are defiant in striking out. In Game 2 for instance, they only struck one out of three, eventually forcing deGrom to throw 94 pitches in just five innings.
New York however won't be going down without a fight. They may be trailing but they still have the chance to make it even while playing at home.
