NBA News 2016: Curry Uncertain About Playing In Game 2 Versus Rockets; Shaq Believes Durant Will Sign With Lakers
Golden State Warriors go-to-player and reigning Most Valuable Player awardee Stephen Curry is unsure if he will be able to play in Game Two of their first round playoff series against the Houston Rockets.
The said contest will be taking place on Monday, April 18th, at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Curry's uncertainty for game two stems from an instance during game one last Saturday, when he landed awkwardly after taking a shot late in the first quarter. In a report by Ricky O'Donnell for SBNation, the 28-year old player was able to return to action in the second quarter, but "wasn't moving well".

Curry did return to the locker room at the third period, but returned to the playing court once again later in the latter part of the quarter. For his part, Curry says he "doesn't see a scenario where he'll be out." But head coach Steve Curry is already prepared for such a scenario, as he plans to put Shaun Livingston in the starting line-up, if his superstar guard ends up being sidelined.
And as for missing the MVP's services, Kerr is not worried at all.
"We've got a lot of guys who can play," Kerr said in an NBA.com report. "I think Steph missed three or four games this year. We did fine. Obviously we've got to find different ways to score. We'll prepare for that and see what happens."
The Warriors ended game one victorious, with a final score of 104-78. Meanwhile, legendary big man Shaquille O'Neal believes current Oklahoma City Thunder standout Kevin Durant would eventually sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.
As far back as late 2015, Durant has been rumored to be headed for Los Angeles to suit up for the Purple and Gold team. And when asked about where he thinks Durant would be headed next season in his recent appearance on SportsCenter, O'Neal had a concise response.
"Los Angeles Lakers," O'Neal said with a smile.
Durant's Thunder currently holds the number three spot at the Western Conference standings. They won their first game against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, with a final score of 108-70.
