Forward Draymond Green also made significant contributions to lead Golden State to a 118-106 victory, as he scored 23 points 13 rebounds and 11 assists, shooting 6 out of 14 from the field, through 37 minutes of playing time.

Thompson was once again the team's top scorer, dropping 27 points, along with three rebounds and three assists, through 39 minutes of playing time. Draymond Green once again lit up the stats sheet, this time with a double-double.

He ended the night with 17 points, along with 14 rebounds and seven assists, through 40 minutes of playing time.

The Warriors were actually down by 17 points during the latter half of the game, but were saved from defeat by Thompson's three-point barrage at the 6:44 mark of the fourth.

Head coach Steve Kerr lauded his men for keeping their focus and using their championship experience to their advantage. "We've been down and out before," Kerr said in an NBA.com report.

"We were just locked in on both sides of the ball. We can build on this game. That effort there in the fourth quarter is what it's going to take to beat this team."

The same report adds that Curry may already be fit enough to suit up for Game three.
