Both going through forgettable seasons, the Chicago Bulls meet the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center in the National Basketball Association.
The matchup is on April 11, 2016 at 8:00 PM ET.
This is the second and final meeting between the two teams this season and at the moment, the Pelicans are hoping to even the season series between the two teams.
In their first game at the United Center, the Bulls took a 98-94 win thanks to 18 points from Pau Gasol.
The Spaniard also grabbed 11 rebounds to help get the win, while Joakim Noah had 10 points and nine rebounds coming off the bench for Chicago.
Six people scored in double figures for the Bulls in the win, with Jimmy Butler with 15, Doug McDermott with 12, Aaron Brooks with 17 and Nikola Mirotic adding 10.
In a losing effort, the Pelicans got great help from Anthony Davis and 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Tyreke Evans also had 22 points and eight assists to lead New Orleans.
Unfortunately for both squads, they miss out on the playoffs after the Pelicans had a very disappointing start to the year which has now resulted in a 30-50 record at the moment.
Injuries have hampered their advancement and it is clear that Davis needs more help and is unable to lift the team on his own.
On the other hand, the Bulls are at 40-40 at the moment and recently lost the race for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference.
Despite having a strong team on paper, the Bulls have struggled and they have found it difficult to face the younger teams in the league.
This could be the last time that the core of the Bulls stay intact as many believe the way for them to go back to the top is through rebuilding, but change is desperately needed for a proud franchise like the Bulls.
