Nick Cannon '100 Percent' Healthy After Kidney Failure

Nick Cannon announced he is healthy again following his hospitalization for mild kidney failure last month. Cannon celebrated his recovery by attending last night's Super Bowl in Indiana.

"This is a great place to get back and debut the healthy Nick," Cannon said on Sunday during a break from his hosting gig on NBC's pre-game show. "Everybody's out here having a good time, and you know people were worried like, 'Is he going to be able to do the Super Bowl pre-show?' But I am 100 percent feeling good right now."

Cannon credited his change of diet for his safe recovery, but said he does not eat the same foods as his wife, singer Mariah Carey, who has been losing weight since she gave birth to the couple's twins last spring.

"I used to be a fast-food junkie," Cannon explained. "[My wife] gets to have higher protein, which isn't fair because I love my steaks and I can't eat that anymore. Her carbs are lower so we are both on a diet, but it is different."

Cannon, 31, is a New York Giants fan and took part in various pre-Super Bowl events, the Associated Press reported.

After she broke the news on her husband's ailment in early January, Carey, 41, called on fans to pray for her husband's recovery via Twitter and her website.

"Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure," Carey wrote. "We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful."

"We're doing OK (sic)…the truth is as long as we're together, we're OK," Carey added. "I'm not trying to make light out of the situation because it's a serious moment that's very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers."

But the "America's Got Talent" host is now in high spirits and ready to take on what may come- even more children!

"I would love to have more children. Now my wife on the other hand, I think the twins took a toll on her. She is like, 'I ain't doing that again,'" Canon joked when asked if he'd like to continue his family with Carey.
