Nick Cannon Admits Breaking Up With Kim Kardashian for Lying About Adult Film

Nick Cannon may be married to singer Mariah Carey, but he once dated reality television star Kim Kardashian and is revealing the cause of their split.

Cannon, 32-year-old "America's Got Talent" host, recently appeared on the "Howard Stern Show" where he let the world know why he broke up with the 32-year-old reality television star. According to Carey's husband, Kardashian lied about appearing in the adult film that made her famous before it became popular.

"This was my issue. We talked about this tape," Cannon admitted. "And she told me there was no tape."

While Cannon said he would have supported Kardashian if she had been honest with him, he also made sure to call her a great person.

"If she might have been honest with me I might have tried to hold her down and be like 'That was before me' because she is a great girl," Cannon told Stern. "She's actually one of the nicest people you'll ever meet."

However, Cannon admitted that he could not get over the fact that she was not honest about her adult video that featured her ex-boyfriend and R&B singer Ray-J Norwood. While the television host called Kardashian a "great business woman" he also admitted to having suspicions about her leaking the adult tape herself.

"...The fact that she lied and told me that there was no tape," Cannon questioned. "And I still think she might have even had a part to play with (its release)."

While Kardashian has yet to respond to Cannon's claims, she did admit to thinking that many of her ex-boyfriends were "the one."

"When I look back at interviews I gave [about previous boyfriends] saying, 'We're talking about marriage, etc.' It's embarrassing," Kardashian admitted to Tatler magazine earlier this year. "And I really believed it at the time! I'm such a hopeless romantic that I'll always believe the next one is the one."
