Nokia 9 Specs, Release Date: New Leaked Image Reveals Rear Panel, Camera Hump and More

The Nokia 9 is once again the center of a brand new leak in the form of a live image, which shows what is believed to be the back panel of the flagship.

The photo clearly shows its dual camera setup, which is arranged vertically. The design also shows that the pair of sensors will be protruding as revealed in previous leaks.

There is also a cutout for the fingerprint sensor just below the rear cameras, which hints that the Nokia 9 will come with an all-screen front panel.

This makes the Nokia flagship the first from HMD Global to shed its bezels, which should give it better chances to compete with other smartphones with the same design as it is becoming the new norm in top of the line mobile offerings.

The Nokia 8 looked outdated next to flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Google Pixel 2 XL, which is why even though it came with solid specs, it failed to win over many patrons.

In line with this, the Nokia 9 is expected to come with a tall display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is being said that it will be a 5.5-inch Quad high-definition (HD) active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display, which should look beautiful on the front panel.

More on the build, the dimension will reportedly be at 140.9 x 72.9 x 7.5mm, but the thickness becomes 8.9mm when the camera hump is taken into consideration.

While a stream of leaks featuring the Nokia 9 has been arriving, there is no word yet on when the device is coming. However, Wccftech believes that it might not arrive this year.

It is being said that the Nokia 9 will instead be released early next year and will be priced at €750, which means that fans will not be treated with official details about the device anytime soon.
