OnePlus 2 Official Unveiling Details Points Out to A Snapdragon 810 SoC and A $329 Price Tag

After the seemingly endless stream of teasers, the OnePlus 2 from OnePlus company is finally out. Introduced via a pre-recorded Virtual Reality presentation on Monday, the confirmed details of the OnePlus One successor are as of follows.

The new smartphone features a magnesium frame and metallic buttons, a huge leap of change from its predecessor, accordingIt comes out with StyleSwap covers which owners can choose from various finishes like bamboo, Kevlar, black apricot, and rosewood. The unit features the signature sandstone finish out-of-the-box.

As expected, the OnePlus 2 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, paired with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. While its display size retains the Plus One's 5.5-inch 1080p dimension, the new-gen appears to be brighter and with more accurate color reproduction, the site said.

As for its camera, the new smartphone boasts a 13MP with optical image stabilization, laser focus mechanism for its rear snapper. The report indicates that the camera is capable of capturing 4K video clips as well as 720p slow-motion footage at 120fps. Its front-facing counterpart is 5MP.

The fingerprint sensor, which was claimed by the phone maker to be faster than that of the iPhone, can store up to five fingerprints. There's also the USB Type-C connectivity port as well as the dual-nano SIM and 4G LTE connection support feature.

The price, as revealed by the publication, sings to the tune of $329 for its 16GB model. Its top of the line 64GB version, on the other hand, is priced at $329.

Unlike the first outing of OnePlus 1, OnePlus executives promise that the invites to get the new OnePlus Two will be much easier and should be made available starting this August.
