Orange is the New Black Season 3 Filming Wrapped Up, Cast Members Spotted Celebrating

Official news surrounding the upcoming third season of the hugely-popular Netflix prison comedy-drama "Orange is the New Black" has been slowly spilling out ever since Season 2 was released, however, in latest updates it has been indicated that filming is already wrapped up and to celebrate the completion of filming, cast members were spotted celebrating at a local karaoke bar. It is expected that Season 3 of Orange is the New Black will be released some time in mid-2015.

Earlier this week, E! Online wrote about the series of behind-the-scene photos posted on one of the cast members' Instagram account.

The pictures featured Lea DeLaria (Carrie "Big Boo" Black in the show), Vicky Jeudy (as Janae Watson), Kimiko Glenn (Brook Soso), Danielle Brooks (as Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson), and many more. They were, as pictured, seen hanging out in the set with each other smiling and having fun.

Cosmopolitan.com, meanwhile, mentioned that the "close in real life" cast members of OITNB were seen going out for a night of karaoke to celebrate the end of filming for season 3.

According to Enstarz, who picked up the story, the "big ensemble" of the jail bird drama "partied in style to wrap up season 3."

"It was so fun and hilarious," Alysia Reiner (who plays Fig) was quoted as saying by Cosmo. "Laverne [Cox] was the bomb. Like, the bomb. I would not be surprised if she rehearsed before karaoke. I've never done karaoke before, and I picked a song, and then I didn't have time to do it," the actress added. "But I really want to sing 'Killing Me Softly' some day. That's what I've decided. The funky version, the up tune version."

Laverne Cox (as Sophia Burset) is said to have led the group in a "rousing rendition" to Joan Jett's "I Love Rock and Roll" song.

"Orange is the New Black" will return to Netflix by mid-2015 for its brand-new Season 3 episodes. Specific release date hasn't been announced yet, the publication added.
