'Parenthood' Season 6 Premiere Live Stream, Spoilers, NBC Start Time: Joel and Julia's Marriage May Still in Danger

Season 6 and reportedly the final chapter for NBC's favorite family, comedy-drama TV series "Parenthood" is slated to kick off its premiere episode this Thursday, Sept. 25, at 10 p.m.

Fans and viewers may already know that Amber (Mae Whitman) is pregnant. In a recent promo video for the show's farewell season, Amber is seen looking at an ultrasound monitor. As also revealed by TV Line, soon-to-be daddy Ryan (Matt Lauria) might not appear in the show until episode 3.

If remembered, the two hooked up while Ryan was hospitalized. Consequently, he left town to go back to Wyoming with his mom, who doesn't really favor Amber.

Meanwhile, as with the matter of Joel and Julia's marriage, they both appear to be in good terms. However, this situation doesn't exactly mean that the two estranged couples are finally reuniting before the show ends.

Sam Jaeger is not so optimistic about the idea of the two getting back together -- that is, "at least at the start of the season."

"There's always a chance for them to get back together," the 37-year-old actor told E! Online. "And hey, I'd love to report that all of season six is us just sitting around laughing and hugging each other. But there are more conflicts and more outside and inside threats to their relationship. They are just different people now than where the season ended. We certainly don't start where we left off."

Julia's ex from college, Chris (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) will return to her life, which suggests that this could be a way for the Bravermans to move on and end the marriage.

Executive producer Jason Katims also talked about the possibility of someone dying in the show.

"We've never told a story about losing someone in the family, and that is a very difficult story for us to tell," he explained. "But it's one that I feel is a reality."

The premiere episode can be watched on TV on the NBC network or online through live stream by clicking here.
