Phoenix Suns NBA Trade and Roster Rumors: Asking Price for Eric Bledsoe Very High

It appears that the Phoenix Suns are currently having a hard time finding a trade partner for guard Eric Bledsoe.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, the New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers were among the teams that have reached out to the Suns after Bledsoe tweeted that he no longer wants to play in Phoenix. However, talks have a snag because the Suns' asking price for the guard was reportedly very high.

"If they're going to keep their asking price very high — which is usually, in some of these talks, a young player and a draft pick or a young player and an established player — they may have to wait a while for the market to play out," Windhorst said, via Yahoo Sports.

Bledsoe's trade value is probably at an all-time low right now after he vented his frustrations on Twitter, but Suns general manager Ryan McDonough is claiming that they have actually been getting a lot of good offers from teams around the league.

"We've gotten some pretty good offers, especially in the last 24 hours or so," McDonough said on Wednesday during an appearance on 98.7 FM Arizona Sports' "Burns & Gambo" show. "Contrary to what you might have heard or read, there is a strong market for Eric Bledsoe," he continued.

"I think we heard from all 29 teams at this point," he added.

Well, the Suns probably shouldn't drive down his trade value further by airing their dirty laundry in public. McDonough has blasted Bledsoe's agent, Rich Paul, for giving "bad advice" to his client and he has questioned Bledsoe's leadership as well during an interview with 98.7 FM Arizona Sports on Tuesday. And don't forget that he has already called Bledsoe a liar and sent him home.

The Suns won't get equal value in return if they trade Bledsoe. However, they may have no other choice but to move him.
