Pilar Sanders in Tears After Losing Custody of Kids

Pilar Sanders was reportedly brought to tears when she recently learned about her strict visitation rights with the three children that she shares with NFL Hall-of-Famer Deion "Prime Time" Sanders.

A number of media outlets like TMZ initially reported that the former NFL star would be granted custody of the estranged couple's two sons while she would share custody of their 9-year-old daughter. However, the former model was emotional after learning that she would have strict visitation rights with all three of the children she shared with the former NFL star.

Pilar will be able to see her children every Thursday for two hours and on every first, third and fifth weekend of each month, Deion's attorney Rick Robertson told RumorFix.com. The announcement reportedly came as a surprise to both Pilar and her legal team.

"Pilar's legal team was caught completely off guard. She found out as she was driving up to pick up her daughter at school today," a representative for Pilar told RumorFix Tuesday. "The whole thing is unbelievable. She has been a stay at home mother all their children's lives."

A reported 11 of 12 jurors ruled in favor of the NFL Hall of Famer receiving custody of the children, according to a TMZ report.

Although Pilar reportedly attempted to prove that her former husband had dabbled in steroid use, he said in court proceedings that her main incentive was money.

"I think the whole reason we're here is not about kids, it's about money. Let's call it what it is," said Sanders in a CBS 11 report. "They refuted the pre-nuptual. We beat them in court regarding the children and we're back. We'll be back again [for] something else."

After the verdict, the NFL player-turned-network analyst took to his Twitter account to give glory to God.

"Thank all of you whom prayed for me and my children. The Truth is what it is," he tweeted. "Never doubt God! Truth."
