Two AFC teams meet at the Heinz Field as the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League.

Both teams have had decent seasons so far but are hoping to break through with big wins as the second half of the season continues to roll on.
At the moment, the Steelers are second in the AFC North with a 4-4 record, behind the unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals. They have a relatively comfortable lead over the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns in the division.
On the other hand, the Raiders are second in the AFC West behind the Denver Broncos. The Raiders are enjoying a great season as they are also trying to hold off the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers underneath them.
The Steelers have struggled as injuries have riddled the team this season but the tough squad are certainly still trying to get back on track after losing their last two games in the league.
They went up against the Chiefs and the Bengals in their last two games and unfortunately did not get the wins they needed.
At Kansas City, they lost 23-13 after failing to muster up decent offence for the night, while the low-scoring game against the Bengals showed that the Steelers must improve on their late-game strategies.
Meanwhile, the Raiders are exceeding expectations and are one of the most popular teams this season.
At 4-3, the Raiders are on a two-game winning streak following a bye week in week six.
When they returned, they beat the Chargers 37-29 then went on to thrash the New York Jets 34-20.
They are now looking for their third straight win to keep improving in the standings and a win over the Steelers will be a big feather in their cap as their resurgence continues.
