The second game five days later ended in another double-digit win for San Antonio with a final score of 93-80. In the said game, Leonard was once again the game's top contributor with 19 points, nine rebounds and three assists.

In a report by Taylor Bletchord for NBA.com, the Spurs have so far won 42 consecutive home games since March 2015. They come in second to the defending champions Golden State Warriors, who have managed to rack up 49-game winning streak at home, as of Wednesday night.

The Spurs are situated comfortably in the standings with a record of 57-10, and are currently on a four-game winning streak. Which is why Aldridge is not sweating too much about the game's outcome, but still expressed his desire to achieve victory.

"We want to win at home but it's not make-or-break. I think guys are locked in for this weekend (versus Portland and the Warriors on Saturday)," he said. "It's been good so far."

The Blazers, on the other hand, hold a win-loss record of 35-33.
