Powerball Winning Numbers for June 4, 2016: Watch Live Stream of $110 Million Jackpot – Drawing Time and Results

More Bettors Count on Winning the Growing Jackpot

UPDATED - The winning numbers for June 3 are: 16, 20, 22, 43, 64 and the Powerball 17. Powerplay is 2x.

The jackpot prize for Powerball continues to climb as it reaches $110 million ($72.1 million cash value) during Saturday's draw.

On Wednesday, there were no winning bettors for the number combination of 23-30-33-40-69-12, Powerball announced. Though there was no lucky winner for the highest prize, more than 500,000 individuals in various parts of the U.S. won a collective sum of $8 million from the game on the said drawing day.

The game, just like any other lottery games, depends on pure luck on six chosen numbers. The draw happens every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Five white balls are chosen from a batch of 69 while another red ball is taken from a group of 29 balls. It can be witnessed live through this link.

Powerball mechanics dictate that a jackpot winner is declared if he or she gets all six numbers in any order. A grand prize winner then has the option to claim the money in whole or receive it in tranches for 29 years.

Winners who choose to get the entire cash amount would just need to pay the tax then they have the remaining money is theirs. However, Powerball said that those who opt to get an annual payment could receive more because the money is invested helping the winner earn about 5 percent more annually.

If a player fails to get all six and only manages to match the five balls in no particular order, he or she can take home $1,000,000 in cash. Three white ball matches or a red ball match also mean a prize for the bettor.

It was added in the game mechanics that Powerball players only need to pay $2 for ticket. They should also make sure to enter their bets 59 minutes before the schedule of the draw.

Since there has been no winners for the past weeks, the jackpot prize for Powerball has reached more than $110 million and more and more people are counting on to win the prize.

Once results are announced, Powerball encourages all players to immediately and carefully check their bets to see if they won. This is to avoid a similar instance a few days ago when $100,000 Powerball winner Susan O'Shields claimed the money, five hours before her ticket expired, WLOS reported.

She claimed that her husband bought the ticket but placed it inside their dresser and did not check the results of the Dec. 5 draw. It was a good thing that a friend told them the story of the unclaimed ticket that they raced to beat the 180-day claiming of the Powerball prize.
