Not Just About The Escape

Season 5 is not only about getting out of prison as escaping is not the end but only the beginning. Even if he gets out, they still have to get out of the country and it will not be easy.

Aside from the brothers getting back together and helping each other, some of the original casts will also join them in helping to get Michael out.

Another highlight of the new season is Michael having more tattoos. What are his motivations and reasons in getting new tattoos? Showrunners are hinting that he has a different reason from getting inked this time.

 Original Characters Involved

The season's revival will include most of the original cast. Aside from Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, other characters will be back as well. Sucre (Amaury Nolasco), T-Bagwell (Robert Knepper) C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) will also be part of the show.

Executive producer, Dawn Olmstead reported that each character will be important and will play a vital role in getting Michael out of prison. The great escape also will include Michael's wife Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) who has confirmed to be back for the series.

Being jailed in a different country will prove to be challenging for the group. They will have to face threats they haven't encountered in the past. The issue of facing terrorists and government red tape will also be thrown in the mix.

As always, the show will all be about family. The story line will involve a lot of sacrifices from all the members of the family and their loyalty for each other will be tested in the face of danger. Purcell adds that this season will be different from the past seasons but will definitely have a well-deserved come back.

Prison Break Season 5 will include five to eight episodes and will return in 2017.
