As for Bensimon, the reality star said that she would consider going back to "Real Housewives" if she will be allowed to be true to herself. Bensimon added that she enjoyed observing the lives of other women but creating a false conflict is something she is not interested in.

The socialite advised the show to just "let the cameras roll" since the best things happened behind the scenes. The show's Morocco getaway was a great example when the women just drank wine and cried. The former model appeared on the second, third and fourth seasons of the show.

Meanwhile, Frankel is the only cast that has been announced to return to the "Real Housewives" and she also confirmed it on her website.

Frankel wrote: "After many years of hesitation, I have decided to return to my roots on 'The Real Housewives of New York City.' I have been through a long and arduous road since my departure, and I'm finally coming out on the other side. It finally feels right to go home again."

Frankel left the show and created a spin-off, which aired for three seasons. After that, Ellen DeGeneres produced her talk show but was later cancelled due to poor ratings. The host ventured into business with her Skinnygirl Cocktail brand but the sales went down in 2013.

Aside from Frankel and Besimon, Dina Lohan and Jill Zarin are reportedly tapped to join the cast of "The Real Housewives of New York City."
