Recently, the hype has reached new heights especially with the new gameplay trailer that was released for "Resident Evil 7: Not A Hero" downloadable content (DLC).

The trailer featured Chris Redfield, who is a veteran in the "Resident Evil" series. In "Not A Hero," he is seen exploring a massive mine, where he finds one of the missing men he is looking for. Given that the man is stuck inside a locked cell, Redfield runs off the find the key. On the way, he encounters zombies, which he blasts with a grenade. Some zombies were also taken care of by punching and shooting. The boss fight features a big beast that he quickly conquers.

Although "Resident Evil 7: Not A Hero" was originally slotted to make a release during the past spring, game director Koushi Nakanishi stated that they would have to push it back to make sure that the DLC will be on par with the original release in terms of quality.

Meanwhile, "Not A Hero" is not the only free expansion that will be released. It will be accompanied by "End of Zoe," which will explain whatever happened to Jack and Marguerite's daughter after what happened in the base game.

"Not A Hero" and "End of Zoe" marks the end of the season pass for "Resident Evil 7." Both of the free expansions are set to be released on Dec. 12. The developers also plan to release "Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition" on the same date.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is now out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for fans to experience while waiting.
