Ronda Rousey News: UFC Fighter Now Training at WWE's Training Center, Reports Claim

While there is still no official announcement, it is believed more and more that the Ronda Rousey is trading UFC's (Ultimate Fighting Championship) octagon for WWE's (World Wrestling Entertainment) square ring as reports claim that the mixed martial artist has already begun her training at the latter's performance training center.

Rumors about Rousey's transfer to the WWE have been around for months now, but the mixed martial arts superstar has yet to confirm if she is, indeed, switching to a full-fledged wrestling career from being a mixed martial artist. However, with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer newsletter confirming that Rousey has already started training at WWE's performance training center, an official announcement on Rousey's transfer to the WWE may be imminent.

According to reports, Rousey and friends Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Safir, also collectively known as The Four Horsewomen of UFC, will be taking on WWE's version of the moniker, composed of Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley at WrestleMania 34 in April 2018.

Reportedly, Rousey was supposed to make her WWE debut via the Survivor Series next month. However, it is suggested that the plan was canceled as the UFC superstar still needs a lot of training as a wrestler.

To recall, Rousey was asked earlier this month whether she is really transferring to WWE. However, the UFC fighter beat around the bush with her answer, saying that if someone is really a fan of hers, they should not be asking.

"I enjoy it more that way, and I don't wanna ruin anything," Rousey added in an interview with TMZ.

Some opine that Rousey has lost her grit for UFC after suffering two successive losses in her last fights with Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. As Rousey, who married Travis Browne just last August, said that she wants to start a family, others believe that moving to the WWE will be the right thing to do as she will have more flexibility in terms of scheduling and still maintain her earning potential given her starfighter status.
